Why the hell not?

Didn’t like the hands, too rushed, along with the guns. Pouches needed more detail, and I did a copy-pasta on the hands. Talk about lazy.

So John asked me to draw/compose something like a cover of some sorts. He suggested to draw Penance aka Speedball aka Robbie Baldwin aka School Bomber. So the original concept should be that he’s standing infront of his costume (which will be the background). This was my initial sketch which I just inked because I want to try something out when inking it.

What I don’t like about this is fucked up face, which I worsened by adding a lot of unnecessary lines and shadow. While working on this one, I realized a few things:

1. I’m weak on portraying human faces, especially when expressing emotion
2. It’s hard to “create” contoured lines using markers, or that I don’t know how to do it.
3. Rushing things will fuck things up. (Note to self: REMEMBER THIS!)
4. Do not let an empty area screw with your head. It’s empty for a reason.

Also, I have a sore throat for 2 days now.

So I hope you guys had a nice Christmas? Yeah? I had a pretty nice one. Started with a drinking session with co-workers after shift (4am), then went home for a little rest. After than we had lunch with the whole family, that includes grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Then went to drinking again after lunch, which then lasted until night. Me and my brother then watched “Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey” and “Global Metal”. I then felt shitty, probably because of the whole day “event” and having almost no rest at all. Although I got pretty cool loots, 3 books; 50 Great Short Stories (a collection), Jules Verne’s “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”, and Stephen King’s “Cell”, and I also got a 500 peso gift card (which I gave to mom).

Oh, and I’m semi sick after Christmas Day.
